Daycare Visit

When Will left his daycare at the end of June, one of the teachers asked that we come back to visit. She said she wanted to see Will walk into his classroom. I decided to stop by his old daycare yesterday for a visit. As soon as we walked into the building he got very shy, and made me hold his hand. Once we got into his classroom he acted very nervous around his previous teacher. She got all teary eyed and was so happy to see him walking. It seemed like Will did not even remember her. It is kind of sad that he was with her for over a year, and since he had not seen her in 3 months, he had already forgotten her. It is so crazy how he has already forgotten that part of his life. He did warm up to her and the classroom after playing for awhile. He did not seem to forget his favorite book. Bill and I are both very fortunate that Grandma Zink is now able to watch him on Mondays and Wednesdays; they both seem to be really enjoying that special time together!!
