1st Day At Preschool Solo

Last week was Will's first week of preschool. He went on Mon and Wed for 45 minutes each day with me. This week he begins to go to preschool by himself. It is a gradual introduction and leads up to his first two hour day of school on Monday October 4. On the first day of preschool they made these adorable hand print bags to use for school. Will was very excited to be going to school all by himself! He had a great day!

Finger Lakes Live Steamers

Today Will, Grandma Wallace, Grandma Zink, and I took a road trip to Clyde, NY to attend the Finger Lakes Live Steamers Open House. We met up with our good friends Renee, Pierson, and Emma. Pierson and Will are both obsessed with trains, so they had a blast spending the afternoon with the steamers. We will have to make sure that this is an annual event. The open house occurs in June and September.

After Will and I took a shower tonight, while I was drying off and he was sitting there wrapped in his towel, he said "Mommy, did Baby Bean have a nice shower with Big Brother Will". He is such a cutie!!

Fall Festivities Begin

Today we took Will to his first fall festivity of the season. Our church had a family day scheduled at Gro Moore Farms, so Bill, Will, and I met Grandma Wallace there for a fun- filled afternoon. It was pretty chilly out so it was not very busy at the festival. There was tons of stuff for Will to do and he had a great time. It was really enjoyable to see how excited he was to do all the different things that were set up. It was a great afternoon!

Yesterday Grandma Wallace, Will, and I took Will to the zoo for his first zoo class of the fall session. Today was all about turtles. We got to the zoo for early membership admission and got to check out most of the animals before class started. Then after class we finished checking out all the animals at the zoo, and then we went out to lunch. It was a great morning!
