Sesame Street And Daffodils

This afternoon we took the kids to see Sesame Street Live. It was the third time Will has seen it but it was Witney's 1st time. It was 1, 2, 3, Imagine Elmo this year. Last year it was Elmo's Green Thumb and Will asked me this morning what color Elmo's Thumb was going to be this year. It is so crazy the memory this boy has. Witney seemed to really enjoy all the bright colors on stage. The second act was a little longer than it should have been as a lot of children started to get antsy. But overall it was a nice family afternoon. And what better way to finish it off than a trip to the Tokyo for dinner. Yummy!!

Waiting Patiently For The Show To Start

Yesterday afternoon Will, Witney, and I went on an adventure with Grandma Wallace. We have been trying to get to the Daffodil Meadow but we have had so much rain we have not had a chance to go. Well yesterday we put on our boots and were prepared to get muddy. I had Witney in the Ergo and Will on my back to get through the wet and muddy terrain. Once we made it to the Daffodil Meadow we came upon 6 deer having an afternoon snack. Half of the daffodils were completely underwater. We were able to get a few pictures of the kids and we had lots of laughs getting there and back.

What Is This Thing? Can I Eat It?

Earlier in the week Will decided he wanted to be brave and climb Grandma and Grandpa Wallace's Maple Tree. I climbed that tree many times when I was younger; memories...

Happy Easter!

We awoke Easter Morning to find yet another Easter Egg Hunt. Will was really excited to find the eggs the Easter Bunny hid around the house. He needed some clues for a few of them, but he was able to find most of them on his own!

We decided to give Witney her first puffs as a special Easter treat. She was not sure what to think of them at all. In a few months that is probably all she will want to eat, and having them around the house again has reminded Will how much he likes them.

After we finished with our Easter festivities we had breakfast and got everyone ready to go to Church. Will's patience was lacking for getting his picture taken with Witney, so we did not get a great shot of both of them.

After church we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Wallace's house for our last Easter Egg Hunt. We had a wonderful Easter dinner at their house. It was a wonderful Easter Season!

Preparing For Easter

Yesterday was packed full of Easter festivities with Grandma and Grandpa Zink. I had to work so I missed out on most of them. The day began with a trip to McDonald's to see the Easter Bunny, then it was on to Tim Horton's for a rained out Easter Egg Hunt (but Will got two bags of candy), and then a trip to the fish hatchery.

In the early afternoon Bill and Will took a walk to a nearby school for the volunteer fire department egg hunt. Before the hunt began it was very chaotic with kids running all over the place. One of the fireman got out a megaphone to go over the rules. Will listened very well to the rules and then repeated all the rules to his Darth Vader container. Once he got all his candy he ran back to Bill to find out if any of the candy he got had Prize written on it. Sure enough, he won one of the prizes for his age group. He was so happy!

After the school egg hunt everyone waited for me to get home from work and then we headed over to Great- Aunt Donna's and Great- Uncle Bruce's for another egg hunt.

Friday we got the kids dressed up for a trip to go and get their pictures taken with the Easter Bunny. We were not sure what Witney would think of the Easter Bunny. She was not phased by him at all and was her normal smiley self. Will on the other hand was a little more hesitant. He had no problem running up and saying hi and giving him a high five. But when we told him he had to sit on his lap for a picture, he got a little nervous. But we were able to get an adorable picture of them with the Easter Bunny and they each got a small stuffed bunny.
