Happy 6 Month Birthday Will!
Where has the time gone? We can not believe how much Will has grown; he is far from the 5 lb 6 oz he was when he was born. We are guessing he is at least 16 lbs now. He goes for his 6 month check up in another week and a half and then we will find out exactly how much he weighs.
Yesterday was Will's first day at Daycare. It was a very emotional day for mommy. We are so thankful that the 4 grandparents have been able to watch him the two days a week that I work up until now. It was a very hard day, but was much easier than it would have been if Will was only 10 weeks old. He will be in Daycare with 6 other little boys, 2 of them only 4 days older than Will. He seemed to enjoy his first day of hanging out with his new friends. I am able to go and visit him on lunch, which makes it a little easier on me. Hopefully he will only have to be in daycare for 9-10 months until Grandma Zink retires, and then she is going to watch him. It is so nice to have family that are local!

Will Meets His Girlfriend
My coworker had a baby last Saturday and yesterday we went over to their house for a visit. It was so surreal seeing Emma 5 days old, and how tiny she is. 5 1/2 months ago Will was that small but it is hard to remember how tiny he was. It is crazy to see how big he has gotten when he is compared to a 5 day old. It is great that Emma and Will are going to grow up being only 5 1/2 months apart. They will have a lot of fun memories playing together.
Will goes through phases of whether he enjoys tummy time or not. We were able to capture a few pictures of him the other day enjoying it.

Will's 1st Camping Trip
Will had the opportunity to go on his first camping trip over the weekend. This was our 5th annual camping trip on my father- in- law's hunting land in Angelica. Daddy, Will and I went up on Thursday and got camp all set up and Will spent his first night in a tent. We ended up setting up a second tent for the dogs to sleep in. Will did very well for his first camping adventure and slept well in the tent. On Friday it was extremely hot, and around noon Will had enough of the heat. I drove Will to Mt. Morris and met up with Grandpa Zink and Great- Grandpa Povio and they took Will back to Rochester. He spent his first weekend away from his mom and dad. We all did well with it, although Bill and I missed him a lot. 4 other fraternity brothers and 2 girlfriends came up on Friday and we had a great weekend in the woods and away from reality!

Hanging Out With The Povios
A few weekends ago we got together at Grandma and Granpa Zink's with some of daddy's family. Will's Great Aunt Judy and Great Uncle Ray spent this past winter in FL and they got home a few weekends ago and had never met Will before. Great- Grandpa Povio also had just gotten home from a winter in AZ and had last seen Will when he was 1 day old. Great Aunt Donna and Great Uncle Bruce were there along with second cousins Brian, Rebecca, Claudia, and Lindsey. Lindsey goes to school in FL and got to meet Will for the first time as well that day.

Celebrating Cousin Avery's 1st Birthday!
We had a really fun Memorial Day Weekend. Will's Cousins Rylie and Avery came up to visit for several days with Aunt Robyn, her mom Di Di, and Uncle Jeff. We had a very busy, but fun- filled weekend. Cousins Rylie and Avery got to enjoy the weekly storytime Will goes to at the local library. We celebrated Avery's 1st birthday at Wally World and Will got to enjoy his second pool experience. The weather could not have been more perfect. We also went to the zoo and out for ice cream. We really enjoyed their visit and can't wait to see them at the Jersey Shore in July!

Visit With VA Wallaces
Last Sunday we got to spend several hours with the VA Wallace clan. Will's cousins Erin and Jeffrey celebrated their birthdays earlier this month. They came up to Corning, NY so that Aunt Meghan could see her brother graduate from Alfred last Saturday. On Sunday they invited Grandma and Grandpa Wallace, Bill, Will, and I to come to Corning to spend the day with them at their hotel. The hotel conveniently had an indoor pool which was a huge hit for the kids. Will got to have his first pool experience, which I must say he seemed to enjoy. We spent the afternoon with Uncle Tom, Aunt Meghan, Cousins Erin and Jeffrey, along with Meghan's mom, dad, grandmother, and brother. It was a fun trip and it was great to see all of them. We unfortunately do not get to see them often enough since they live in VA. But we will get to share some beach time with them in July when we all venture to a beach house in NJ. That will be a lot of fun and we can't wait!

Lilac Festival
The Lilac Festival is currently going on this week. We decided to check it out on Saturday, even though we knew it would be super crowded. The main purchase I was interested in was the kettle corn, which happens to be the most popular item to purchase at the festival. Last year we waited about an hour and a half to get some, but since we had Will with us, we decided it was not worth waiting 2+ hours for the kettle corn. I decided to go back today, figuring it would be a lot less crowded being a weekday. It was absolutely gorgeous out; sunny and 72 degrees. I was able to get my bag of kettle corn in 5 minutes. We also took some pictures of Will and the beautiful tulips and lilacs.
