Zink Family Journal: 1st Night In Big Boy Bed

Today was the official unveiling of Will's Big Boy Room. He knew that we were going to be doing a Star Wars room for him, but we did not tell him what that would entail. Bill worked really hard on his room while we were on our trip to NJ and Philly. It turned out great! His first night sleeping in his big boy bed could not have gone any better than it did. He went to sleep without much of a fuss, stayed asleep all night, and never once tried to get out of bed. Hopefully that trend continues!

Since Will now has been moved into his big boy room, which used to be our old guest room, our cat Sam needed to find a new place to call his room. He seems to have settled in very nicely in our new guest room, which is located in our nearly complete finished basement.

Tonight we went to the St. Piux Church Festival with Grandma and Grandpa Zink and Great- Grandpa Povio. They had a lot of games for the kids to enjoy, along with a playground and a few bounce houses. The adult men also enjoyed playing some black jack. It was a fun night for all of us!

Yesterday we took another trip to Seabreeze, which is one of Will's favorite places. We went with my good friend Brooke and her son Patrick and daughter Brinn. The boys had a great time at the water park together and enjoyed going on all the rides together. We will have to make sure we get a few more trips into Seabreeze before they close for the season.
