Witney's 1st Taste Of Cereal

Today we decided to give Witney rice cereal for the first time. She has been sleeping through the night pretty regularly since she was 8 weeks old, so we were in no rush to start feeding her solids. We decided that since she was 5 1/2 months old we may as well get things started. And she certainly did not disagree. She was like a little birdy the second she saw the spoon. She was so into it that she knocked the bowl out of daddy's hand (hence the bib change). She definitely is a fan of rice cereal!

Today's zoo class was Animal ABC's. Miss Emily read a pretty long book that went through the alphabet with animals. All the children did a great job listening to the story, even with it being pretty lengthy. Then they got to meet Doug the Armadillo and Bouncer the Ball Python.

5 Months Old

Witney has become a pro at grabbing onto rattles and teething rings and putting them in her mouth. She wants to put everything in her mouth, including our fingers. There still is no sign of teeth but she sure is drooling like crazy. If she is anything like Will, she has another 5 + months before any teeth arrive.

Snow Fun

We got to enjoy an afternoon out in the snow. The weather was warming up, so it was perfect packing snow conditions. We even got Witney bundled up to spend some time with the family out in the snow. The weather was so warm that Frosty was destroyed overnight when we had pouring rain. It was a great afternoon!

Trip To NJ

This weekend we took a trip to NJ. We were happy that we were able to see so many people while we were there. We saw Great- Grandpa Wallace, Great- Aunt Linda and Great- Uncle Pat, cousins Jason, Heather, and Marc. Will was excited to introduce Witney to all of his relatives. He got to spend a lot of time with his second cousin Cameron and we all got to meet her twin little sisters Zoe and Ashlyn. We had a great visit and hope to see everyone again soon!

Water Safety Day At Swimming

Today marked the half way point of Will's Nemo swimming class. It was water safety day, so they spent the first half of the class listening to the instructors talk about safety around the pool. They took a tour of the pool and then got to jump in the deep end and swim to the shallow end, with their life jackets on of course.
