Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Turkey Day
(Will's Hand and Foot Print Craft)

Will seemed to really enjoy his second Thanksgiving. We stayed home this year and got to spend Thanksgiving Day with Grandma and Grandpa Zink, Great- Grandma and Great- Grandpa Zink, and Great- Aunt Donna and Great- Uncle Bruce. We went over to Grandma and Grandpa Zink's house for turkey dinner. It was great to see everyone and Will seemed to really enjoy his turkey dinner. He especially enjoyed the quality time he got to spend with the turkey before it was carved.

Weekend at Grandma and Grandpa Wallace's

Will and I spent the weekend at Grandma and Grandpa Wallace's house this weekend. Bill was out with the Zink family men hunting, so Will and I packed up and headed to Grandma and Grandpas. It was a pretty low key weekend and we both had fun. Will showed me what a great helper he can be with the laundry. I will have to make sure to put him to work in the future 8).

Will's Friend Nickolas' Birthday Party

Will's friend Nickolas had his second birthday party today. We were a little late since I had to work. Will only slept for 30 minutes on the drive to Syracuse, so he ended up being in a "mood". He was obsessed with the food tables and had several tantrums. Eventually he seemed to enjoy himself and played really well with the other kids. Once everyone left, Will and Nickolas had dinner together, and then we headed home. It was great to see Nickolas and his parents Julie and Brian; we hope to see them again soon.

Imagination Movers

Will is obsessed with Imagination Movers. Every morning when we come downstairs he has "Movers" on the brain. When we heard they were coming to town, we decided that we better get tickets for him to go see his favorite guys. He had a blast and Bill and I thought it was a pretty decent concert too. It was by no means Dave Matthews Band, but it was even entertaining for us adults. The only thing we will do different in the future is make sure we have aisle seats. Several children who had aisle seats were dancing in the aisle the whole time, and that is what Will wanted to do. We are really glad we decided to take him.

All Aboard

Today Bill, "Uncle" Matt, and I took Will on a little train ride. We went to the New York Museum of Transportation. We started off with a self guided tour of the museum and got to see lots of old train cars and several model trains. Then we all got on board a trolley car and rode for about 10 minutes to the drop off point. Then we got off the trolley car and got on board a diesel train. We took another 10 minute ride on the train to the Rochester and Genesee Valley Railroad Museum. We got to spend about 30 minutes walking around that museum and then boarded the train and trolley for a ride back. It was a really neat set up and we all enjoyed ourselves. Will seemed to really enjoy riding on the choo choo but one of his favorite parts was picking up the rocks and dropping them. He also really enjoyed riding upstairs on the diesel train ride home. We will have to remember to do this again next year.
