Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter. When Will got up he was surprised to see that the Easter Bunny had paid our house a visit overnight last night. He got to stay in his pijamas and he went on an Easter Egg Hunt and got 16 Easter Eggs. Then he checked out all the goodies in his Easter basket and we had a great french toast breakfast.

After his morning nap we got him dressed for the day and headed to church. He say quietly for an hour and 15 minutes, minus some babbling here and there. Then we met Grandma and Grandpa Zink and Great Aunt Donna and Great Uncle Bruce at the Radisson for an Easter Brunch. The food was excellent. Grandma and Grandpa Wallace were missed; they went to Rhode Island to visit Aunt Robyn and Uncle Jeff and Cousins Rylie and Avery.

It was a very sunny day but it was quite cold out. After Will's afternoon nap Grandma and Grandpa Zink came over with Will's Easter Basket. Then we did some Easter crafts and took the dogs and Will for a nice afternoon walk. It was a great Easter!

15 Month Check Up

Will went for his 15 month check up on Tuesday afternoon. He weighs 22 lbs 11 oz and is 31 inches long. He received a clean bill of health along with 3 vaccines. He was not happy about the shots and took a little longer to recover than he normally does, but overall he did great.

This afternoon it was a little chilly out but the sun was out and it was a gorgeous day. We went to an outdoor play date in the afternoon and Will got to play with some of his friends. He loved playing in the sandbox.

Tuesday we had a great day with Grandma Zink. She took the day off from work and went with us to swimming class. Will had a great time swimming with Grandma. He made sure to show her where everything was in case they want to come swimming this summer with Great Aunt Judy and Second Cousin Claudia. After swimming we went out to breakfast at Denny's. Will loves the Junior Grand Slam. Then Will spent the afternoon with Grandma Zink so that I could go to a veterinary meeting. We all had a great day together!

Fun- Filled Weekend

This weekend was full of lots of fun things to do. Saturday morning Will went to Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Wegmans. I had to work so I was unable to go. But Bill, Grandma and Grandpa Zink, Grandma and Grandpa Wallace, and Great- Aunt Donna all went with Will to see the Easter Bunny. They all had a great time and Will loved the Easter Bunny. He had to go up to him 3 times and he loved pulling on his ears. Hopefully next year I will be able to go with them.

After I got out of work the three of us headed to meet Will's little friend Avery. My friend Ellee from college had Avery on New Year's Eve, so she is 364 days younger than Will. This was the first time that all of our schedules were free for a visit. We had a nice visit and it was so cute seeing the two of them together. Our other college friend Julie was supposed to come with her son Nickolas but he had an ear infection so they didn't come. We will have to make plans for another trip so all three of the children can play together.

Once we got back home the weather was beautiful. We took Will for a walk across the street to the pond and fed the geese. Will just thought it was so funny to see Bill and I throw bread to the geese.

One of Will's newest things he loves to do is play with the magnets. Whenever we are in the kitchen cooking, he just has a blast talking to the magnets and taking them off of the refrigerator. He loves to stack them on top of each other.

Will is getting to be such a big boy. He is doing new things every day. He has gotten pretty good at feeding himself with a fork, although he still likes to use his hands most of the time. We still make sure we are the ones feeding him his yogurt and applesauce.

Another Fun Gymboree Playdate

Today we went to another playdate at the local Gymboree. I organized the event for one of my mom's clubs and we had a great turnout. 14 moms brought their children to run around and let loose for an hour. Two dads and a grandmother also came. Will was one of the lucky ones who got to play with both his mom and his dad. Bill came over right from work and got to spend some quality time with Will. Everyone seemed to have a blast and they all were asking when the next one will be.

Will's 1st Easter Egg Hunt

Will was able to participate in his first Easter Egg Hunt today. One of my mom's friends hosted an Easter Egg Hunt at her house. There were some older kids participating so I had to quickly take Will by a group of eggs before they were all gone. Since things happened so fast I did not get a chance to take any pictures. But this shows how well Will did with the Easter Egg Hunt.

Will's First Time Bowling

Today the three of us went to Bill's work party at a local bowling alley. We knew that Will wasn't quite ready to bowl, but we figured everyone would love to see him. All three of us had a great time and Will did very well just hanging out and watching everyone else bowl.
