Our Little Snow Angel

Will is making sure he spends lots of time out in the snow. He loved our inflatable snowman, which unfortunately permanently melted. He continues to ask where his long lost friend is. Hopefully he will forget about him soon and make new snowman friends.

Wills friend Giada came over for a special snow play date. Her mom pulled her to our house in a sled, and it turned out to be a bigger workout than was originally expected. Next time it is our turn to take the trek over to their house. They had a blast playing in the snow together and we look forward to our next play date.

Grandma and Grandpa Wallace finally have lived their retirement dream and bought their RV. Will and I made a special trip over to their house to see it before it went to be stored. Will thought it was their bus and really enjoyed the VIP tour. We can't wait to go camping with them in it someday.

2nd Annual Gingerbread House Making Party

Will and I got to attend our Second Annual Gingerbread House Making Party today! It was a small and cozy group of people and we had a lot of fun. Will helped a little bit but was more interested in eating the candy. I ended up doing the majority of the construction, but he did help plant some trees (the upside down and sideways ones) and work on part of the roof.

1st Time Playing In Snow

Today was the first time Will got to experience playing in the snow. We took him out once or twice last year, but there is not much an immobile toddler can do in the snow when they are all bundled up in a snow suit. Will had a blast and absolutely loves playing in the snow. He constantly asks to go back out. Hopefully we will have a descent amount of snow this winter, so we can make up for the lost playing in the snow season last year.

Checking Out Our Reindeer

One of Will's favorite things is to ride in the 35 year old sled that was handed down to us from Grandma Wallace. He loves having me run around the backyard pulling him in the sled while singing Jingle Bells.

On one of our very cold and very windy days, he kept saying again when I would stop pulling him around the yard. To my surprise the one time I stopped I found this...

I was able to take Will inside, take off all his snow gear, and lay him down for a nap without him waking up.

Mom's Group Holiday Party

Yesterday was the holiday party for a mom's group that I am in. We have an annual party in the summer and around the holidays We rent out a local pavilion and everyone brings a dish to pass. It is always a great turn out. The kids run around and play while the moms and dads eat and catch up.

Will loves to "walk" Brinley around the house. He grabs on to his tail and follows him around the house laughing. Brinley is such a trooper and puts up with all the toddler abuse.

We decided to take Will for an evening stroll to check out the Christmas lights in our neighborhood. It was a brisk evening, but everything was so still and quiet; it was a very peaceful walk.

Breakfast With Santa

Today Grandpa Zink took Will, Bill, Grandma Zink, and Great- Aunt Donna to his work Breakfast with Santa. As is usually the case, I had to work, so I could not go. Everyone had a great time, although Will was not too sure about Santa. But he was very content with Santa's gift.

Here are a few pictures of our tree this year. We decorated the tree last Sunday. We were a little worried what Will was going to think of the tree and if we was going to try and mess with it. Much to our surprise he has been perfect with the tree. His favorite thing to do is tuck his little Pooh characters in the branches and then find them the next time he is in the living room; very cute.
