Will's 1st Wine Tasting Party

Will got to go to his 1st Wine Tasting Party this weekend. Our good friend "Uncle" Matt threw his wife "Aunt" Rebecca a surprise 30th birthday party. At the event there was wine tasting and surf and turf. Will did very well for the 1 1/2 hour wine presentation. He kept talking back and forth with the wine lady. He went to sleep really quickly, even though we were a rowdy bunch. During gift opening, we got a little too loud and he woke up. But he ended up getting to spend some quality time with "Uncle" Matt watching "Aunt" Rebecca open her gifts. Happy 30th Rebecca!

Will has had two physical therapy sessions so far and he seems to really enjoy it. He has taken to the physical therapist very well. She comes over to our house once a week and we basically just play with Will for an hour, and work on his exercises at the same time. He does not seem to mind working with her, since it is usually always in the form of play. He has been doing really well with staying in the crawling position for some time before deciding to lay on his stomach and roll over. Keep up the good work Will!

Will has been really enjoying sitting on the kitchen floor and pushing his trucks around. Then he scoots on his butt to retrieve them. It is really cute and it gets him moving around.

Will finally got to have a play date with his friend Emma. She is the daughter of one of my co-workers. Will probably hasn't seen her since last September when we all went out to dinner. Emma is 5 months younger than Will. It was really cute to see how they interacted with each other. Will hopes to see his friend Emma again soon!

1st Trip To The Children's Museum

Today we decided to take Will to the Children's Museum. We received a membership for his birthday but haven't taken him yet. I have been there several times with my nieces and nephew, but Bill has never been there either. There still isn't a ton of stuff for an immobile child to do, but we think Will had a good time. And we left with some Mr. Potato Head souvenirs, since that is the new exhibit that is there right now.

Visiting Cousins Erin and Jeffrey in VA

This weekend Will and I went down to VA to visit Uncle Tom, Aunt Meghan, and Cousins Erin and Jeffrey. Grandma Wallace had off for February break, so she and Grandpa Wallace were planning to come down for a few days. When I found out I had Saturday off from work, we decided to join them. Unfortunately Bill had to work Thursday and Friday, so he stayed home and our friend "Uncle" Thom came up to hang out with Bill for the weekend. We left Grandpa Wallace behind while Will was napping one afternoon and took the kids bowling. Everyone had a great time doing that. We all bundled up one afternoon and took a walk to the nearby lake. We got to see two resident swans swimming around. We also went to a German Restaurant Saturday night to celebrate Uncle Tom's Birthday a few weeks early. We really enjoyed our visit and can't wait to see everyone again soon; if only VA was a little closer. As always, photo overload...
