Corbett's Glen- Totally Different Experience

Today we went to Corbett's Glen with "Uncle" Matt, "Aunt" Rebecca, and our cousins Brian, Rebecca, and their two daughters Claudia and Natalie. We were at Corbett's Glen 3 weeks prior and today it was a totally different experience. It had rained a lot the previous few days so the water level was a lot higher from when we were there last. The kids still had fun playing in the water, but we had to be a little more cautious with them so that they did not get swept downstream.

Last weekend we took Will to Bounce It Out, which is a local playplace for kids that is full of bounce houses. Will had not been there since his friend Patrick's 2nd birthday party last October. He had a lot of fun bouncing around and burning off lots of energy.

28 Weeks

I had my 28 week check up today and my blood pressure was within normal limits, but it was a little bit high for me. With that and a significant weight gain from the previous four weeks and my history of pre- eclampsia, my doctor has decided to have me start going once a week to get my blood pressure and weight checked for the remainder of the pregnancy. I also went out and bought a blood pressure cuff so that I can check it 1-2 times a week at home. It is nothing that the doctor is super concerned about, but we are going to keep a close eye on things to make sure that "Bean" can stay in my belly for as long as possible.

Great- Grandma Zink's Belated Family Birthday Party

A lot of Bill's family came into town to help celebrate a belated 80th Birthday for Great- Grandma Zink. We spent the afternoon over at Great- Aunt Kathy and Great- Uncle John's house. It was great to see everyone from out of town and to watch all the cousins play with each other. Will's favorite part was swimming in the pool.

VA Family Spends The Week With Us

After our trip to Rhode Island, Uncle Tom, Aunt Meghan, Erin, and Jeffrey came back to Rochester and spent the rest of the week with us and Grandma and Grandpa Wallace. The cousins had a lot of fun playing together. Grandma Wallace even got out several of Uncle Tom and Uncle Jeff's toys from when they were growing up (GI Joe Command Center, Castle of Grey Skull, Transformers, etc). One day we spent about 7 hours at Seabreeze, our local amusement park, and the kids had a blast. Will got to go on some new rides that he was not tall enough to go on last year, and seemed to really enjoy them. We went to the water park for the first time with the kids and everyone LOVED it. We also spent a lot of time at Wally World lounging around the pool. It was so great to spend lots of time with them and we can't wait to see them again!!

Road Trip To Rhode Island

Grandma and Grandpa Wallace, Will, and I took a little road trip to Rhode Island to help celebrate Will's cousin Rylie's 6th Birthday. Bill unfortunately had to stay home and work, so he was not able to go with us. Will did really well for the car ride and we had a great time visiting with everyone. Uncle Tom, Aunt Meghan, Cousins Erin and Jeffrey also took a road trip up from Virginia, along with Rylie and Avery's Aunt Tina and Uncle Kevin, who drove in from New Jersey. We spent most of the weekend hanging out around the house and letting the cousins play. We made pizza, went to the farmer's market, celebrated Rylie's birthday, went to the Wickford Art Festival, played a lot, spent lots of time outside with the slip and slide and sprinkler, and had a bonfire. It was a great visit and everyone had a lot of fun!!
