Poor Little Guy

Last night we had our worst accident so far. Will and I were heading upstairs to use the potty and take a bath when he tripped and went face first into his train table. I immediately picked him up and thought he hit his head or something. Then Bill noticed that his mouth was full of blood. We frantically took him in the kitchen to check that all his teeth were okay, and to find the source of bleeding. He had a pretty nice size gash on the inside of his upper lip. We let him chew on a cold washcloth and put an Elmo boo boo pack on his lip and got the bleeding stopped. This morning when he woke up, his lip was huge. The pictures don't do it justice. Thankfully he seems to be doing fine, and is not having any trouble eating or drinking.

On Lock Down

One of Will's favorite things to do these days is go into Brinley's crate. A lot of times he even asks us to lock him in. Here are a few picture of him at different times over the last few weeks.

Dancing With Elmo

We bought Will Tigger and Pooh soft chairs at a garage sale over the summer. We had put them in the basement until the basement was finished, but Will wanted to play with them one day when he spotted them downstairs. He loves to move them around, put toys on them, and sit next to them. He really has not taken an interest to actually sitting on them, but he certainly is enjoying them. And the best part is they only cost $2.

Sitting With His Buddies

A few weeks agon 25 moms and I all pitched in to make 25 advent calendars. We all did different things to prepare for the actual night that we put them together. I, being a non- sewer, turned my tree in to be sewn. I was really happy with how it turned out, and am excited to use it with Will this year to count down the days until Christmas.

Corning Parade of Lights

Today we decided to take a road trip down to Corning, NY for their annual Parade of Lights. We left early enough so we could hit up the Corning Glass Museum and eat dinner before the parade. We hoped Will would sleep for most of the trip, but he only ended up taking a 30 minute nap. We spent a few hours at the glass museum, mainly chasing Will around, and keeping him out of trouble. I even managed to get the stroller stuck at the top of an escalator, and it took 3 of us to get it out. Apparently it was too wide, and some of their escalators were wider than others. Then we walked into town and had dinner and claimed our spots for the parade. It was freezing out. Will stayed nice and toasty under his bundle me, but Bill and I were pretty cold. Will seemed to really enjoy the parade and we will definitely do this again.

Chilly Visit To Stokoe Farm

Today we decided to take another trip to Stokoe Farm. The day after Thanksgiving every year, weather permitting, there is a special visitor to Stokoe Farm. Santa Claus and one of his elves sky dive into the farm. We thought it would be fun to take Will, so Bill, Will, Grandma Zink, and I headed out to the farm. They had free hot chocolate and cookies for everyone. It was pretty cold out, but that did not keep the visitors away. Tons of people came to cut down their Christmas trees. We met one of the reindeer, got to ride on the wagon out into the tree farm, and tried to keep warm. It is amazing what a difference a month and a half can be. When we went in September for pumpkins, Will wanted nothing to do with the straw mountain or the tunnels underneath it. Today we could not keep him away. We will have to remember to do this again when we are in town for Thanksgiving. What a great way to start the holiday season.
