Will's First Time Bowling

Today the three of us went to Bill's work party at a local bowling alley. We knew that Will wasn't quite ready to bowl, but we figured everyone would love to see him. All three of us had a great time and Will did very well just hanging out and watching everyone else bowl.

Sesame Street Live

We took Will to see Sesame Street Live today. It was a lot of fun! Grandma Wallace, Grandma and Grandpa Zink, and Great- Aunt Donna also came along to see the Sesame Street gang. We had great seats and Will seemed to really enjoy it. The second half of the show you could tell children were starting to get fussy, but overall, Will did very well. We will definitely have to take him again.

Play Dates Galore

Today Will had a play date with his second cousin Claudia. She and her parents came over to our house to hang out and have some pizza. Claudia really enjoyed playing with Will's toys, and he did a good job sharing them.

Two days ago Will and I went to another play date at the nursing home. Most of the residents that came to watch the children play were the same ones that were there last time. But there were some new faces too. It is so amazing how seeing children makes the residents so happy.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

We started off our day going to swimming lessons. It was the last class for this session, but we made sure to sign up for 8 more weeks. Will is like a little fish when we go to swimming. Then in the afternoon Will went to his first St. Patrick's Day Party. Instead of drinking green beer we all got to drink green milkshakes. It was Will's first milkshake and he did not stop chugging his milkshake for about five minutes. We also munched on some green rice krispie treats, which were delicious.

Will's Love For Reading

Will is just fascinated with his books. We can sit him down and he will entertain himself for an extended period of time looking through his books. It is amazing how content he is with doing that. We will hear him babbling away as he turns the pages. If only we knew what he was saying. He also has a new interest in removing one of his shoes, whether he is sitting and reading or in the high chair eating.

Riding My Bike Around The Block

Today was a gorgeous day with temperatures in the mid- 50's. We took full advantage of that by taking about an hour walk this morning with the dogs. Then we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Zink's house this afternoon for a nice turkey dinner. After we ate, we decided to take Will and their dog for a walk. Grandma and Grandpa Zink got Will this cool Cars tricycle and so Will got pushed around the block on his bike. Hopefully the nice weather is here to stay...

Fun Day With Grandma Zink

Yesterday we had a nice day with Grandma Zink. She took the day off from work and watched Will for a few hours so I could run some errands and get a pedicure. Then we met at the local library for story time and then we went out to lunch. We all had a good time! Thanks for spending your day off with us Grandma Zink!

Will's 1st Wine Tasting Party

Will got to go to his 1st Wine Tasting Party this weekend. Our good friend "Uncle" Matt threw his wife "Aunt" Rebecca a surprise 30th birthday party. At the event there was wine tasting and surf and turf. Will did very well for the 1 1/2 hour wine presentation. He kept talking back and forth with the wine lady. He went to sleep really quickly, even though we were a rowdy bunch. During gift opening, we got a little too loud and he woke up. But he ended up getting to spend some quality time with "Uncle" Matt watching "Aunt" Rebecca open her gifts. Happy 30th Rebecca!

Such A Big Boy

Will has had two physical therapy sessions so far and he seems to really enjoy it. He has taken to the physical therapist very well. She comes over to our house once a week and we basically just play with Will for an hour, and work on his exercises at the same time. He does not seem to mind working with her, since it is usually always in the form of play. He has been doing really well with staying in the crawling position for some time before deciding to lay on his stomach and roll over. Keep up the good work Will!

Playing With My Trucks

Will has been really enjoying sitting on the kitchen floor and pushing his trucks around. Then he scoots on his butt to retrieve them. It is really cute and it gets him moving around.
