On Sunday we were lucky to have a second Thanksgiving Feast. Grandma and Grandpa Zink came over for the Redskins game and then we indulged in some more turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Will really enjoyed the turkey, mashed potatoes, and green beans. He was not allowed to enjoy the wonderful Funfetti cake that Grandma Zink made for dessert; that was delicious. Unfortunately, Great- Aunt Donna and Great- Uncle Bruce were not able to make it, since Bruce has walking pneumonia. We missed them very much and hope Great- Uncle Bruce is feeling better soon.

Happy Thanksgiving!
We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. This year we headed down to VA to spend Thanksgiving with the Wallace's. We caravaned down on Tuesday afternoon with Grandma and Grandpa Wallace. It was the longest road trip Will has been on, and he did very well. We arrived at Aunt Meghan and Uncle Tom's around 1am and Will decided it was time to be wide awake. All he wanted to do was play; hence mommy and daddy were lucky if we got three hours of sleep that night. Wednesday morning Will was very excited to see his Cousins Erin and Jeffrey. Unfortunately, Aunt Robyn, Uncle Jeff, and Cousins Rylie and Avery had to stay in Rhode Island as Aunt Robyn is still recovering from surgery. We missed them very much and hope Aunt Robyn is feeling better soon! It was so great to see the three cousins and all their little antics. Erin did a great job of watching after Will and keeping him entertained. Jeffrey really enjoyed the toys Will brought down to share with his cousins. We are so glad we were able to make it down to VA this year; it was a great time had by all. I apologize for picture overload, but there were so many great ones it was hard to pick...
The Three Cousins Snuggling
On Thanksgiving Day, we decided it was a nice day to be outdoors. Grandpa Wallace, Mommy, Daddy, Erin, Jeffrey, and Will got bundled up to take a walk around the neighborhood.
We went to a nearby stream where Erin and Jeffrey love to go to throw rocks in the water. Then Erin decided she wanted to go home, so we took her back home and then went to the beach at the nearby lake.
For Thanksgiving Dinner, we decided to see what Will would think of the turkey...
Friday mommy and daddy decided to go out and brave the Black Friday shoppers. I slept in and then spent the morning with the rest of the family. My cousin Erin "babysat" me and we had a lot of fun.

Moving to the Big Boy Tub!
For the past few weeks we have started giving Will his baths in the "big boy" tub. He seems to really enjoy it and doing splashes is one of the highlights of his night. Great Aunt Donna got him some really cool wind up bath toys that he really likes. His favorite seems to be the blue dolphin. He is still a little unsure of them when they are moving in the water, but when he picks them up he seems to enjoy them wiggling in his hands. Great find Great Aunt Donna! He is all smiles and giggles in the bath tub!

1st Cold
We knew it would happen eventually, but we are glad it took 10 1/2 months to happen. Will has his first cold. He started coughing a few nights ago and each night it was more and more. On Friday he sounded like a "gremlin" when he breathed, so I decided to take him to the doctor to make sure there was nothing else going on. They confirmed that he has a bad cold. Poor little guy. He weighed in at 19 lbs 11 0z. We are very thankful how healthy he has been, especially since he has been in daycare since July 1, and there is always someone sick at daycare. Hopefully he will be feeling better soon; we would like him healthy for his first Turkey Day!

Lots of Fun Things To Do
We have been trying to go to several of the fun events around town that are geared toward children. Last Sunday, since the Redskins weren't on, we took full advantage of that and went to the Wildlife Extravaganza. There were over 200 wild animals there and the whole family had a good time.
Beautiful Owl
Yesterday I took Will to one of the local malls which has a really fun children's area. We had never been there before and it is really cool. Everything is soft so if they fall they won't get hurt as badly. Even though Will isn't very mobile yet he still had a great time with his friends. We will definitely be going back there.

Growing Boy
Our baby boy is getting so big. He went for his flu shot booster on Tuesday and he weighs 19 lbs. Tuesday was also a big day for all of us. Not only was it Veteran's Day and Grandpa Wallace's Birthday, but it was also the day that Will cut his first tooth. It was not there in the morning when I got him ready for the day but when Grandma Wallace, Will and I were at the mall I went to feed him a bottle and there was a glistening white tooth poking through his bottom gum. I would have never known it was there otherwise because he has not been fussy or anything.
We have still been able to enjoy being outside with this great weather we have been having. One of these days we will be surprised and the cold will be here to stay. We spent some time at the park last week since it was in the 60's. We had our first "almost choking" scare while we were at the playground. He got a small leave and had it in his mouth and started spitting up a ton and gagging. I stuck my finger in his mouth and got it out; that was scary. But other than that incident we had a great time at the park.

Another Milestone
Will has been rolling from his tummy to his back for over 3 months now. But last week was the first time he was able to fully roll from his back to his tummy. He has been almost doing it for a few months, but the arm closest to the ground always gets stuck. He still hasn't figured out that if he rolls continuously he can get from one side of the room to the other. For now, he just rolls over and back, then over and back again.

Rhode Island Trip
Will and I got back yesterday from a 5 day trip to Rhode Island. Aunt Robyn had abdominal surgery 2 weeks ago, so we went up there primarily to help out. And it was an added bonus that Will got to spend lots of quality time with his cousins Rylie and Avery. Both girls were so cute with him. Rylie was so excited to see "Baby Will" and she shared her room with him, which meant a special sleep over with her cousin every night. It was so wonderful watching them all interact with each other. We really enjoyed our visit and hope Aunt Robyn is feeling better soon!
