Will Has Reached One of Many Milestones

Today we hit a milestone! This morning Will rolled from his tummy to his back for the first time! We are so proud of him! What will he do next?

First Family Vacation!

Will With Cousins Erin, Jeffrey, Avery, and Rylie

We had the opportunity to spend a few days at the Jersey Shore this past weekend. Grandma and Grandpa Wallace rented a beach house in Ocean City, NJ and all of Will's cousins had the opportunity to hang out at the beach for a few days. The water was unseasonably cold so we opted not to dip Will's feet in the ocean. We got it down to a science to go and get Will's beach tent set up bright and early so we could get Will down to the beach before he took his morning nap. Otherwise, mommy or daddy would have been stuck up at the beach house while he slept. Will seemed to enjoy his first trip to the beach. The morning family walks was one of mommy's favorite times. We look forward to seeing the family again soon! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Wallace for an awesome beach vacation!!

Time For Cereal!!!

At our 6 month check up we were given the thumbs up to start feeding Will cereal. Tonight was the first night that we offered it to him. He was a little confused at first, but very quickly realized how yummy it was. Before we know it he will be eating the same foods as us.

Will's 6 Month Doctor Appointment

Will had his 6 month doctor visit today. Our pediatrician is very happy with how he is growing and developing. He weighs 14 lbs 8 oz and is 27 inches long. We were given the thumbs up to start feeding him rice cereal, which we will probably start in the next few days. He had to get three shots today and one oral vaccine. It is so hard to see him get so upset when he gets his shots. He was asleep in the car within minutes after we left. He does not have to go back to the doctor until his 9 month check up, which we are all happy will involve no needles! Our little man is growing up so fast!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July!

We had a wonderful 4th of July Weekend! Grandma and Grandpa Wallace were in Hawaii on vacation, so we decided to live over there for the weekend so we would have unlimited access to Wally World. Uncle Jeff, Aunt Robyn, and cousins Rylie and Avery ended up spending the holiday weekend at Wally World as well. We had a fun filled weekend. On the 4th the weather was perfect pool weather. Several of our friends came over to spend the day swimming and then we had a barbeque. Rylie could not get enough of "Baby Will". She loved playing with him and making sure that he was content and not crying. We had a very relaxing weekend laying around the pool.

6 Months Ago Today...

Happy 6 Month Birthday Will!

Where has the time gone? We can not believe how much Will has grown; he is far from the 5 lb 6 oz he was when he was born. We are guessing he is at least 16 lbs now. He goes for his 6 month check up in another week and a half and then we will find out exactly how much he weighs.

Will 6 Months Old

Yesterday was Will's first day at Daycare. It was a very emotional day for mommy. We are so thankful that the 4 grandparents have been able to watch him the two days a week that I work up until now. It was a very hard day, but was much easier than it would have been if Will was only 10 weeks old. He will be in Daycare with 6 other little boys, 2 of them only 4 days older than Will. He seemed to enjoy his first day of hanging out with his new friends. I am able to go and visit him on lunch, which makes it a little easier on me. Hopefully he will only have to be in daycare for 9-10 months until Grandma Zink retires, and then she is going to watch him. It is so nice to have family that are local!
